Membership & Taking Classes at Danceworks:
– Welcome to our new system!

Membership Options & Fees at Danceworks London

REOPENING UNDER COVID MEASURES

For the current Covid-19 measures period, we will have a reduced timetable and reduced class numbers, so we encourage you to book for classes in advance booking through the website or using the new Danceworks App. Please note class times as they may have changed for the present. Click here for our Covid-19 measures.

ONE-TIME CLASS FEE

Our studios are now cash free, and we will be implementing a new system from August 2020 which ends the pre-lockdown system of membership and paying teachers in class.

There is now a one-time fee per class bookable online.

The one-time fee has been set to include what under the old system was the teacher’s fee and the daily membership fee (peak or off-peak) that you would have paid in the past. The only increase is £1 on each class.

If you book more than one class on the same day, the second/subsequent classes will be discounted to represent what was under the old system the teacher’s fee plus £1. Let Reception staff know on arrival at Danceworks that you have paid for multiple classes that day.  Your account will then be credited with the appropriate amount.

Please note that you will need to book classes on the Danceworks App to utilise your reimbursement.  If you have any questions about this, please ask at Reception or email [email protected]com.

To take a class at Danceworks you will now have to book online – on our website, our Danceworks App or at Reception. The one-time fee for each class differs depending on what the teacher charged for their class pre-lockdown.

The one-time fee for each class will be found on the timetable and the individual teacher’s page on the Danceworks website.  For example, a daytime Ballet class will be £12 for those not eligible for discounted rates (see below).

Given current reduced class numbers we encourage you to book for classes in advance using the new Danceworks App or online.

OPENING YOUR NEW ACCOUNT & THE £10 ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE

For new customers & existing drop-in members:

Before your first booking you will be asked to open an account and pay the new £10 recurring annual registration fee.

Please ensure you set the start date from when you wish to start making online bookings and NOT the date you will attend the class.

Then you book online or on our Danceworks App (available soon) and simply pay the one-time class price each time you would like to take a class.

For existing prepaid (Annual, 3 & 1 month) or Direct Debit members:

Before your first booking please contact [email protected] for further instructions on how to access your online account and discounted class rates.  The registration fee won’t apply at this moment.

*DISCOUNTED RATES:

Members who were previously pre-paid members (eg. Annual Members):

To acknowledge your previous long term commitment, a discounted rate will be available for you until your current membership expires.  And, your membership will be extended to take account of the lockdown period.  These rates will be available to you online when you book the class, and will be what you used to pay as the class fee, plus £1.  When your membership does expire, you will have to pay the £10 annual registration fee. There will be offers of packages of classes available.

Members who were previously paying monthly by direct debit:

To acknowledge your  commitment we are offering you a discounted rate for class prices which will be available until 31st July 2021

Your direct debit was of course frozen on lockdown and will not be reactivated (you may wish to cancel it now). However, you will be permitted to continue on the direct debit rate you were paying previously, but paid now through a monthly recurring card payment from your new Danceworks online account. The discounted class rates will be available to you online when you book the class and will be what you used to pay as the class fee, plus £1. This offer is available for you provided you activate your online account by 31st October 2020.

When this discounted rate expires, you will have to pay the £10 annual registration fee. There will be offers of packages of classes available.

Where discounted rates or concessions are available they will be available during the booking process.
