About Nick Sowonola
Nick trained at the Body Stress Release Academy in South Africa in the late 1990’s , and subsequently became London’s first full time Body Stress Release practitioner. He now has over twenty years’experience and was honoured to be named as one of London’s top therapists by the Evening Standard.
Prior to training as a Body Stress Release, Nick worked as a mental health co-ordinator and ran workshops and retreats. He has a deep understanding of the mind-body connection that underpins our wellbeing. Nick recognises that physical, mental and emotional stress has a physical impact on the body and that this can experienced as a wide variety of ailments and symptoms.

About Body Stress Release
Body Stress Release is a gentle but incredibly powerful technique. The practitioner assists the body in releasing deeply held muscle tensions, the classic symptoms of which can be structural (such as long term back pain/discomfort, neck pain, recurring headaches, recurring joint problems) to more general stress related issues (such as insomnia, hampered functioning of internal systems and a
general day to day experience of & feeling stressed.

Body Stress Release is for everyone, from infants to the elderly. By allowing the body to unlock previously blocked neural pathways through very gentle but precise stimulus, it assists the body in restoring its self-healing capacity and thus removing the symptoms of deeply held stress.
