– everything you need to know
We regularly hold masterclasses with internationally renowned dancers in a variety of styles.
Previous guest teachers have included Sergei Polunin, Michaela DePrince, Hofesh Shechter, Akram Khan, Igal Perry, Melissa Hamilton.
Participants will be given opportunities to take part in upcoming Masterclasses.
Moderation of individual trainees takes place weekly. You will be appointed a mentor who will critically examine your progress in consultation with the teachers of the classes you are taking.
The fees cover all moderation expenses.
It is the responsibility of the Programme Director to determine whether you have reached a satisfactory standard by the end of your training. If a satisfactory level has been reached, the student will also be submitted for UNESCO CID (International Dance Council) membership and accreditation.
Non UK Citizens must purchase insurance before starting the programme.
Danceworks is not responsible for injuries or illness incurred during your program, so it is vital that as an international student you have full coverage travel and medical insurance before arriving to the UK. We recommend that you discuss the full details of the programme with your insurance provider to ensure you are covered.
