Philipp Bolloev was born in Moscow and has studied at the legendary Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. In 2005, he was offered a full scholarship at the prestigious Rock School for Dance Education. He participated in the Youth America Grand Prix Competition, where he was one of the top ten classical men in the YAGP New York City Finals. Following his performances he received full scholarships for the San Francisco Ballet School, the Timothy M. Draper Center for Dance Education in Rochester, New York and Ellison Ballet in New York City, and invitations to numerous ballet companies such as Washington Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, San Francisco Ballet.
Philipp’s performing experiences include the Bolshoi Ballet Academy at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, performances of Napoléon Bonaparte (Napoléon Bonaparte’s son) at the State Kremlin Theatre Palace in Moscow. He has worked extensively with numerous ballet companies in Russia, touring the USA, France, Switzerland, Spain, Finland, Taiwan with appearances in Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Cinderella, La Fille mal gardée, Le Boléro the others.
Music plays a big part in Philipp’s life. He has learnt piano from the early age and still very much enjoys playing, giving a preference to the works of J.S. Bach, F. Chopin, S. Rachmaninoff and S. Prokofiev.
