The International Ballet Curriculum is just that – a curriculum of training for young dancers that prepares them for the multi-faceted world of ballet as we know it today. With its solid technique-based classes and pre-professional performing experiences, IBC students gain the self-discipline and confidence necessary for whatever profession they choose.

Welcome to Danceworks Ballet Academy from
Kim White, Founding & Artistic Director

The Academy was founded in 2015 to offer a unique non-exam based curriculum with inspiring teachers dedicated in providing excellent classical ballet training to students of all ages and abilities, in after-school and weekend classes.

Our experienced and nurturing teachers are devoted to raising the next generation of professional dancers as well as instilling the love of dance in all our students. We aim to offer classes for all ages and abilities as well as pre-professional training, hence we offer competitive fees and a number of partial scholarships.

In order to give our students a true dance experience we provide at least two yearly performances, working and performing alongside professional dancers from our faculty plus guest teachers from major companies throughout the world.

Ballet is important and significant, yes. But first of all, it is a pleasure.
George Balanchine

The Academy is a Danceworks initiative in response to requests for excellent and accessible children’s ballet in its Mayfair studios. Danceworks is a long-established dance destination open 7-days, with scores of drop-in classes of all genres though especially renowned for ballet. Danceworks hires out its studios for private classes, parties and a host of other uses. It is also the home of Natureworks, the complementary therapy centre. For more information click here.
