Biography

Verona is the Founder, Co-Director of Ignition Dance Company. IDC was set up in 2012 with a mission to use dance as a medium to help shift consciousness in space whilst helping individuals feel empowered and become the best version of themselves.

Verona is experienced in street, Contemporary, Afro- Caribbean, and Afro- Latin dance styles, however primarily focus on African and Caribbean dance styles, specifically  Afrobeats ( modern social street dances from Nigeria and Ghana) and Jamaican Female Dancehall.

Having worked steadily as a Teacher, a performer since 2007, Verona’s recent credit highlights include;
