– Street Level classes in London
Gwen has been dancing and choreographing for just over 20 years. Her training first started out with Len Goodman of BBC’s Strictly, learning Latin American, Modern and Ballroom dance.
Gwen gained more dance experience from performing arts colleges (Hackney, Islington and Weekends Arts College), then joined The Lilian Baylis Dance Company performing contemporary dance.
She has also been fortunate to dance internationally with dance company Connecting Vibes performing African and Contemporary at The Grenada Dance Festival 2000. Travelling has allowed her to meet and dance with her favourite choreographers Jason Wright (Hip-hop/L.A.) and Richie Rich (Locking/L.A.).
Her dance repertoire includes, Da Ali G Show, Mayhem Makers (E4 Funny Cuts), Def Jam Tour (Redman, Methodman and Erick Sermon), MTV Lick Tour (Destiny’s Child Album Launch), The Road To Baghdad (Sadlers Wells with The Green Candle Dance Company) The Big Breakfast (Channel 4) and various videos, fashion shows and adverts.
Street Level is a fun and friendly dance class, but it’s not for the faint hearted! Get ready to burn up some energy by learning great, dynamic dance routines, while building up your stamina, musicality with an extra boost of confidence.
Choreography is taught over two weeks, so newcomers can join in at anytime.
Come to Street Level every Sunday for good times and good vibes.
