Biography

Craig trained at the Royal Ballet School and the London Studio Centre on their esteemed Musical Theatre Course.

He made his stage debut with the Birmingham Royal Ballet in Sir Peter Wrights original production of ‘The Nutcracker’ playing the role of Fritz and on many occasions performed in the Royal Ballet Schools school performances at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and Holland Park open air theatre.

His professional West End and UK and International theatre credits include:  ‘Hello, Dolly!’ ‘The King & I’, ‘Cats’, ‘Singin’ In The Rain’, ‘One Touch Of Venus’,  ‘On Your Toes’, West Side Story’, ‘Fame’ and ‘Peter Pan The Musical’.

He has choreographed for Qdos Entertainment, The Arts House Stratford-Upon-Avon, choreographer on ‘Monster Raving Loony’ for Theatre Royal Plymouth and Soho Theatre, London, ‘Cinderella’ at Chiswick House and Gardens and most recently ‘Stormy’, the Life of Lena Horne, UK Tour.

He has also starred in various TV shows and commercials. Craig teaches dance at performing arts colleges in and out of London and has extensive experience teaching adult Ballet and Barre workouts to various levels of ability. ‘Brushing shoulders’ with Natalie Portman in 2011, he took two exclusive Ballet Classes for the UK press launch of ‘The Black Swan’.

Craig is also a Silver Medalist Master Diver representing Team GB at the World Masters Championships, Budapest, and European Masters Championships, London!

Class description

Craig’s ‘Turby Technique’ jazz classes will focus on a jazz warm up, jazz technique exercises across the floor such as kicks, turns and leaps followed a routine changing fortnightly. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway and technical jazz to help develop a well rounded dancer.
