Welcome to our Danceworks Pre-Ballet Programme. We provide a gentle introduction to the world of Ballet and Dance, Our classes are imaginative, nurturing and inspiring. Your little dancer will grow in confidence, improve motor skills, gain musical and artistic sensitivity! For more information, email [email protected]
Baby Ballet (18 months-3 years)
A fun and imaginative introduction to the world of Ballet. We explore music, rhythms and movement in a gentle, encouraging way. Your little one will pick up skills, having fun along the way and making new friends.
Reception Ballet (3-5 years)
In this class, we work a little more on the basics of ballet. We introduce a little barre work and an enjoyable centre practice with travelling steps and imaginative sequences. We work on good posture and basic ballet technique while nurturing artistry to build a strong foundation for a healthy and happy dancer. Your little dancer will pick up many useful skills from the ballet class, listening to instructions, watching for visual cues, taking turns and working as a group.
Christmas Themed Classes
Our last class of Autumn Term will have a Christmassy theme: “Jingle Bell Ballet” for Baby Ballet and The Nutcracker for Reception Ballet. The little ones will have the opportunity to dress up and dance, while the Reception ballet will perform the Chinese dance from The Nutcracker. We look forward to showing you our dancing and celebrating our learning both online and in the studio.
