Since 1982, Danceworks has been providing a friendly and inclusive environment for all forms of dance and fitness of the highest quality. Now one of the world’s leading studios, we offer an incredible variety of accessible dance classes. Whatever your style or ability we have a class for you. Our building opposite Selfridges holds seven great, multi-purpose studios, men’s and women’s changing facilities with showers, plus a snack bar and member’s lounge area with free Wi-Fi. Danceworks staff are passionate about the arts and this reflects in our customer service. Our staff are always pleased to help you to find classes to suit your needs, whether you are looking for a strenuous workout, trying to develop your technique, or simply wanting to learn something new.
Danceworks attracts renowned teachers from across the UK and internationally, with a wealth of experience and teaching expertise. Many are working professionals in the dance and entertainment industry. In our classes, you will benefit from the same high standard of instruction whether you are a beginner, professional or in between.
We are open every day of the year from early to late, except major holidays. All classes are run on a drop-in online booking basis. Check out our Timetable to see what appeals to you. We also hold regular Masterclasses and Workshops taught by top companies, dancers and choreographers, which are bookable in advance.
Danceworks has Baby Ballet and Reception classes and children’s Ballet and Tap.
We are accredited for short courses by the British Accreditation Council and we offer a unique mentored International Dance Visa Programme, as well as individually customised mentored programmes for dancers of all levels from the UK and overseas.
We have an in-house complementary therapies centre – Natureworks – on our first floor where expert practitioners offer everything from massage and osteopathy to acupuncture, nutritional support and life coaching.
