Emily Louise Stephenson is an experienced and qualified Dance Instructor, Choreographer and Personal Trainer. She has over twenty years of experience in the dance and fitness industry having founded two successful businesses and has worked across a wide range of settings in Education. Emily received her dance training in the North East of England and performed in shows and pantomimes in the UK and abroad before discovering her passion for teaching and choreography. She has taught at St Mary’s University and Pineapple Dance Studios amongst many others  as well as running a successful dance company for ten years. In 2021 she merged her passion and expertise for dance and fitness and created The Dancer Body, a dance workout. ‘It is my mission to spread joy through movement and share the strength, confidence and balance it can bring to our lives at any age’. Emily recently worked with Sweaty Betty to deliver her workouts and is focused on building community through The Dancer Body.

Class Description

The Dancer Body workout includes high energy dance cardio, strength and resistance work and stretching. The full body conditioning class at Danceworks is designed to improve stamina, strength and flexibility whilst improving balance in the body. This class is general level and suitable for dancers and anyone wanting to advance their body training.
