Biography

As a student Carrie gained bronze medals at the Genee International Ballet Competition and Young British Dancer of the Year. She began her professional career with Birmingham Royal Ballet and went on to dance worldwide with Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Ballett am Rhein (soloist), New Adventures (Swan Lake & Nutcracker!), Phantom of the Opera (West End) and the McOnie Company. 

She has taught at a range of institutions covering various levels and ages including company class for New Adventures, McOnie Company, Yorke Dance Project, London Studio Centre, Urdang, Yorkshire Ballet Seminars and The Royal Academy of Dance (Phyllis Bedells, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore). 

Carrie lectures in performance psychology at The Royal Ballet School and London Contemporary Dance School having gained her MSc in Sports Psychology. She works both 1-1 with individuals and delivers group workshops to help dancers optimise their performance and wellbeing. 

She brings this knowledge and understanding into her ballet classes creating an empowering environment so that individuals can thrive.
