Class Description

BollyCo is a globally recognised Dance & Creative Agency based in London. They represent the UK’s finest South Asian Dance & Creative talent. Kanika & Jeevan are the main Bhangra Choreographers within BollyCo working in Film, TV & Music, as well as teaching the weekly Bhangra classes. These Bhangra classes aim to showcase traditional Bhangra and also modern Bhangra-fusion. You’ll learn the basics of Bhangra, but you’ll also learn how to sequence Bhangra steps in different ways.  With Bhangra music taking over dancefloors, we know that it is now an essential skill for anyone attending an Indian wedding! This is the best place to start and develop your Bhangra movement vocabulary.

Each week, you’ll learn a few traditional moves and their names in the warm up. You’ll then how to use them on the dance floor, within a piece of choreography. Our playlists are revealed monthly on instagram @thebollywood, so you can find which songs we are doing in advance. We try include a variety of both trending and timeless music within our class playlists. If you’re looking for a class where you can hear the likes of Malkit Singh, Lehmber Hussainpuri, Daler Mehndi, Bally Sagoo as well as new Artists like AP Dhillon, Karan Aujla, Sukha & Diljit – this is place to come!
