Class Description

Benji’s class draws upon elements of release technique and Cunnigham to warm the body up at the start of class. Finding moments of activation and release, to work efficiently by shredding the body of unnecessary tension to create heat and flow. This then is applied to floor work, finding ways we can lose tension to create a softness in moving in and around the floor to start to build a safe speed in sequences. The class works of the principles of pace, consideration and flow to find great physicality in phrases/form and the ability to cut/shift through space in virtuosic movement.
